The film is based on the real life incident of Naval Officer K. M. Nanavati. Commander K. M. Nanavati vs. State of Maharashtra was a 1959 Indian court case where commander Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati, was tried for the murder of Prem Ahuja, his wife’s lover.

The soundtrack of this film is composed by Ankit Tiwari, Jeet Ganguly, Raghav Sachar, Arko Pravo Mukherjee and story by Vipul K Rawal. The lyrics are written by Manoj Muntashir.
